REPEAT SESSION BY POPULAR DEMAND ONLY 3 seats available on February 24th

The planning, design, construction and performance review of high containment facilities, including BSL-3, ABSL-3 and BSL-3Ag, requires a well thought out approach if the outcome is to meet the intentions of the owner or client and the users.

From a project risk perspective, it is critical to choose the right approach when considering the functionality, compliance and cost of the facility within a reasonable design and construction schedule.

This course uses models and tools to plan and design a functional BSL-3 facility that meets the requirements of the user and operator as well as the applicable regulatory requirements. The course is designed as a workshop. Selected facility related trades, systems and equipment will be used as examples to illustrate the process from planning and design to performance verification. Therefore, participants are expected to have a good understanding of risk controls for BSL-3 facilities (engineering, architecture, systems, equipment).
